Use turpentine
Modern cars are painted differently from the past and undergo a catalyzing process that turns the paint into a very hard and compact layer. Unfortunately, they remain very sensitive to solvents that tend to dissolve the glossy finishing layer.
To remove a paint stain in a “fairly” safe way, you can use turpentine or an equivalent commercial product. This is a derivative of gasoline and has a light solvent capacity.
With a light cloth and a lot of patience, you begin to “work” the stain using a deerskin cloth that does not release “hairs,” so that they do not mix with the paint removed.
Start at the edge and continue in a centripetal manner until the stain is removed. You may need some time and, if you leave the job halfway, wash the part with soap and start again later.

Wipe the body with a cloth
If you are aware of the damage at the time and the paint is still fresh, you just need to bring a cloth, preferably microfiber, dampened with plain water and wipe it gently over the entire bodywork, avoiding that the stains have a chance to dry out. The use of cotton wool is strictly not recommended because, during the rubbing, it could be damaged by scratching the frame irreparably.
Leave to act
Otherwise, don’t panic. Get everything you need, organizing the work area so that you have everything you need close at hand. Park your car in a shady, well-ventilated place where it cannot be exposed to direct sunlight. The paint usually has a composition based on water, enamel or oil. In the first case, it will dissolve easily by placing a damp cloth on it. Leave it to act for a few hours. Periodically check the humidity and wet it from time to time, if necessary.
Use a specific spray
Rainwater is an agent that can stain car paint, as it can contain harmful elements. Such as acids present in atmospheric pollutants. White and distilled vinegar removes stains from an aluminum bumper, plastic rear lights and rubber gaskets. Car paint must be polished with a buffer. The best solution is to use a specific spray to remove water stains from the paint, to be bought in spare parts stores. Just wipe the surface of the car with a sponge soaked in vinegar and wait 30 to 60 seconds. Rinse the bodywork only with water and use a special shampoo for washing. If you want, wipe the wax with a deerskin cloth and make circular motions and polish with a polisher.
