  • 500 g brussels sprouts
  • 1 glass of white wine
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tablespoon of wheat flour
  • Parsley
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pink pepper
  • Water


  1. Pour the water into a saucepan, filling up to half of it. Put it on medium heat and add a little salt (to taste).
  2. Prepare the Brussels sprouts, cleaning them well. Tear off the thick leaves from the outside and cut the stem a bit. Once you have them ready, and as long as the water is already boiling, add them to the pot.
  3. Let them boil for about 12 minutes and after this time check if they are well cooked, pricking them with a fork or knife.
  4. We separate the casserole from the fire and with a slotted spoon we will remove the cabbages and place them on a plate.
  5. In a frying pan prepare the oil over medium heat and when it is hot add the 4 garlic cloves and leave them for a couple of minutes, stirring them a little.
  6. Add the wheat flour and sauté for a few seconds.
  7. Add a glass of white wine and mix all the ingredients well.
  8. Wait a few minutes and add the Brussels sprouts that you had set aside.
  9. Add the pepper (to taste) and if you like to notice the salt well, now is the time to add a little more, but remember that you should not take excess salt.
  10. Add the parsley that you will have to chop previously, stir it well and add a couple of tablespoons of the remaining broth from cooking.
  11. Stir everything well and wait 5 minutes for the ingredients to cook completely. Then remove the pan from the heat and serve the cabbages.

  2. Add to the Brussels sprouts a tablespoon of oil, another of pepper and another of garlic powder, in addition to salt to taste. Stir well to mix all ingredients.
  3. In a glass dish or tray, spread the cabbages well and put them in the oven and hot for about 20 minutes.
  4. While the cabbages are cooking in the oven, cut the potatoes into squares, place them in a glass bowl and add salt, red pepper, oregano, garlic powder (all to taste) and a little oil.
  5. Check that the cabbages are baked and, if so, take them out and reserve them.
  6. Now put the dish with the potatoes in the oven and leave them another 20 minutes, or more if needed, until you see that they are well done. You can choose more ways to prepare the baked potatoes to combine them with the Brussels sprouts.
  7. Once the potatoes are also ready, serve them on plates next to the sprouts.

This recipe for Brussels sprouts with ham will serve 4 servings, but if you want to expand it, you just have to increase the amounts in a proportionate way.


  • 500 g brussels sprouts
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 150 g of ham
  • Paprika
  • Half an onion
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • White wine (optional)
  • Water


  1. Clean the cabbages, removing the thickest leaves and cutting the stem slightly.
  2. Put a saucepan with water on the fire and when it boils, add the cabbages, allowing them to cook for about 10 minutes. When they are ready, take them out, drain them and reserve them.
  3. Once they are at room temperature, cut them in half vertically.
  4. Heat the oil in a frying pan and add the onion, the chopped garlic and a little salt.
  5. Leave it on the fire for 10 minutes, stirring until the onion and garlic are soft. Turn the ham over (about 150 grams chopped) and cook for about 3 minutes.
  6. To give more flavor to this dish, you can add a small glass of white wine and raise the heat for 2 minutes.
    Add the sweet paprika and stir.
  7. Add the reserved Brussels sprouts, stir and wait 5 minutes until all the ingredients are done well.
  8. Remove the pan from the heat and you can now serve the Brussels sprouts on the plates.
