Cosmetic depilation

Undoubtedly, hair is one of the main ornaments of every woman. They make a lot of efforts to make their hair look as good as possible - we just wrote about this in a previous article. And there is, you see, a certain amount of humor in the fact that now it's not about how to take care of your hair, but, on the contrary, how to get rid of them as effectively as possible! The problem of cosmetic hair removal is familiar to any representative of the fair sex without exception. In the annotations to hair removal products, they write and promise that, one might think, this problem has been solved a long time ago. Alas, if that were the case! This problem is still very far from being solved, not to mention some ideal method. There are not so many ways to solve it, even today, when the cosmetics industry, in general, is at its best.First of all, mention should be made of such a radical method as banal shaving. However, upon closer examination, it turns out that this procedure is not only unpleasant in itself, but (much worse) not so "radical" at all. The fact is that it not only causes discomfort, sometimes significant, but also requires constant repetition. There is also such a method as lightening (discoloration). Modern cosmetics for lightening hair consist of two components: bleaching cream and activating powder. After thoroughly mixing the ingredients, apply the mixture to the desired area of the skin using a spatula. After fifteen minutes, remove the product with a damp cloth. If the hair is dark or black, this procedure will have to be repeated several times to the desired degree of discoloration. As a rule, regular use of such products for one to two weeks gives a completely satisfactory effect. This method is supported not only by its painlessness, but also by its low cost.Depilation is the removal of hair from the surface of the skin, in which the hair follicle (from which the hair grows) is not affected or damaged in any way. Therefore, it is easy to understand that any depilation techniques can only have a temporary effect.Nevertheless, methods such as plucking hair with tweezers and shaving (already mentioned by the unkind word above) remain in widespread use. I think this is due to their relative convenience and undoubted accessibility with minimal material costs. However, there are more "advanced" methods that also apply to depilation. This is hair removal using wax (waxing), a concentrated solution of honey or sugar (sugaring), as well as hair removal with chemicals or special depilatory machines.Wax is the most ancient depilation method. According to legend, Cleopatra also used it. It is not known what kind of wax the queen used, but today it is preferable to use pink wax, due to the fact that it has a softening effect on the skin. The wax contains natural rubber molecules, which increases elasticity, does not irritate the skin, and removes hair of various lengths and thicknesses equally well. The procedure is extremely painful, and it should be performed by a professional cosmetologist in the salon - only he is guaranteed to remove the wax from the stuck hairs so that no repetition of the procedure is required. And she, we repeat, is very painful. You should not experiment five or six times at home in artisanal conditions; it is better to go straight to the salon. Effectiveness: two to three weeks. The method is not recommended for dilated veins or subcutaneous vessels; in some cases, complications such as inflammation of the hair follicles are possible. The technique called sugaring practically does not differ from the one above, only concentrated sugar solutions are used in this case, not wax.Chemical methods of hair removal are based on the use of special cosmetics, of which depilatory creams are the most popular.Do not forget about such an important point that all these creams must first be checked for an allergic reaction, as well as any cosmetics of chemical composition. The method of application is very simple: apply, wait for a while and wipe (along with the hairs). The great advantage of the method is its complete painlessness; but there is also an equally significant drawback: after five to seven days, the hair will grow back.Hair removal. With this method of hair removal, it occurs due to the destruction of the hair follicles. This is the most modern (and radical) method of solving the problem. This method is mainly used on small areas of the body, such as the face and bikini area: this is due to the fact that processing large areas takes a long time and is painful. The method of electroepilation is quite popular. Today, this method is used in many salons.Electrolysis. In this method, during a chemical reaction developing on the needle, which is a negative electrode, hydroxyl is released from water ions, which has the property of destroying the hair follicle. Most often, multi-needle devices are used for hair removal in this way, which significantly reduce the risk of scarring on the skin. Electrolysis is a fairly effective method. It has a particularly good effect when removing gray and very light hair. For those women who have decided to make such sacrifices in the name of beauty, it is absolutely necessary to know that there are clear restrictions for these procedures, of which time limits are the most important. This is due to the rather strong effect of electrical procedures on the general electrical axis of the body. And this, as a result, leads to the fact that the total time of hair removal, say, on the legs, can stretch for several days and even weeks. In addition, among the consequences, zonal uneven hair growth (the so-called "checkerboard pattern") can be mentioned. It is also absolutely necessary to know all the contraindications for the use of these methods of hair removal, so it is best to consult with your doctor or a qualified cosmetologist beforehand. He may recommend the electric method of hair removal as the main one, but perhaps also as an auxiliary to another method of hair removal.Light hair removal. Recently, lasers have been used in many fields of medicine, and the range of applications is continuously growing. In particular, today the properties of the laser are very actively used in cosmetology. For hair removal, lasers based on alexandrite and ruby crystals are usually used. However, laser hair removal has a number of very significant disadvantages: due to the fact that sometimes burns may appear on the skin or skin pigmentation occurs, which, as you understand, is highly undesirable and significantly limits the possibilities of the method. Nevertheless, of course, the positive aspect is the period, which is, as a rule, from four to five months. At the same time, the newly growing hair is thinner, it is 50-60% smaller and it is significantly lighter, and therefore more invisible. However, you need to remember that in some cases, a complete victory over the vegetation on your hands and feet may require up to ten sessions of laser hair removal. And, of course, we must not forget that there are also a number of contraindications for this method. Not so long ago, a new device appeared in the arsenal of cosmetologists, which is capable of working simultaneously with several beams of different lengths (in the length range from 590 to 1200 nanometers). As a result of the heat exposure, which produces light absorbed by the melanin of the hair, the follicle is destroyed. He curls up like a squirrel. In this case, light flashes affect several hair follicles simultaneously. This device is equipped with a rock crystal tip. In this case, the pain is practically not felt, and burns do not occur either. In 2025, cryptocurrency isn't just a buzzword—it's transforming how people pay, invest, and save globally.
