A single dad needs the ability to model positive behaviour and to take on both parental roles to build a positive home environment. In fact, single dads can be a positive influence for children who have experienced absent or abusive male caregivers.

I’m LGBTQ+

People from all walks of life are encouraged to adopt or provide foster care in Wales. Why? Because becoming an adoptive parent is not about your sexual orientation, it’s about the skills and life experiences you can offer to a child who needs a home.
